Delete Your Account
At My Finance Mate, we respect your decision to delete your account and associated data. Below are the methods you can use to request the deletion of your account.
Option 1: Delete Your Account via the App
Follow these steps to delete your account directly within the app:
- Open the My Finance Mate app on your device.
- Navigate to the Profile Tab.
- Under the Account Management section, tap on Delete Account.
- Confirm your action to delete your account and all associated data.
Once you confirm, your account will be permanently deleted, including all financial data, transaction records, and personal details.
Option 2: Request Account Deletion via Email
If you prefer to delete your account manually, you can send an email request to our support team. Include the following details in your request:
- Your registered email address.
- A brief statement requesting account deletion.

Please allow 1-3 business days for our team to process your request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you delete your account, the following actions will be taken:
- Your personal information (email, name, profile picture) will be permanently erased.
- All transaction history, budgets, and financial data will be deleted.
- Any remaining data retained for legal purposes will be securely stored and deleted after the retention period.
